Snooker Legends Tour Dates




Now in its 4th season and a mainstay of the annual Snooker calendar, SNOOKER LEGENDS announce a series of exhibition events for 2013 that will be a ‘must see’ for snooker fans in the UK.  The  SNOOKER LEGENDS 2013 tour will start on 11 April 2013 at the Sheffield Crucible Theatre and will feature 10 dates including the 3 day ‘Legends Cup’ event which will return to the                         Bedworth Civic from 10 – 13 May.


The SNOOKER LEGENDS 2013 tour boasts a stellar line up of snooker talent with the likes of reigning World Snooker Champion Ronnie O Sullivan,7 times World Champion Stephen Hendry, 6 times World Champion Steve Davis, 1997 World Champion Ken Doherty, 1991 World Champion          John Parrott, 1985 World Champion Dennis Taylor, 1980 World Champion Cliff Thorburn, ‘Peoples Champion’ Jimmy White and ‘the fastest player in the world’ Tony Drago, taking to the baize.  And to whet the appetites of snooker fans further, SNOOKER LEGENDS has added some hot new names to the 2013 squad including 2010 World Champion Neil Robertson, 2002/2003 World Champion Mark Williams, 1986 World Champion Joe Johnson and joining the tour for one night only will be Junior UK Champion Hannah Jones making SNOOKER LEGENDS history by being the first lady to join the exhibition player line-up.


Overseeing the SNOOKER LEGENDS tour will be host John Virgo and referee Michaela Tabb whilst multiple World Championship referee Jan Verhaas will add his refereeing skills to the Legends Cup event. 


A night at ‘the home of snooker’ Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre on 11 April will see the kick-off of the tour with a new format, a pairs team challenge!  Jimmy White and Dennis Taylor take on                 Stephen Hendry and Steve Davis in a series of doubles and singles only one team can win!

On 10 – 13 May the Legends Cup 3 day event returns to the Bedworth Civic Hall and will see the reigning champions ‘England and Northern Ireland’ team, again captained by Dennis Taylor, and featuring Ronnie O Sullivan, JimmyWhite and in his Legends Cup debut Steve Davis, challenge the ‘Rest of the World’ team captained by Cliff Thorburn and featuring Stephen Hendry,                     Tony Drago and Neil Robertson.  Overseeing the 3 day event will be your host John Virgo with Michaela Tabb and Jan Verhaas.


Wednesday 15 May sees the SNOOKER LEGENDStour head for the Charter Hall in Colchester where, Steve Davis and Tony Drago take on Jimmy White, and Cliff Thorburn.

On 17 May SNOOKER LEGENDS makes its way to the Harlequin Theatre in Redhill for a showdown match between Stephen Hendryand Steve Davis. With 13 World titles between them, this exhibition is quite rightly billed as a clash of the two most decorated players in snooker history.

On the 19 May SNOOKER LEGENDS travels to the south west. Newcomer Joe Johnson, complete with ‘those’ shoes will team up with Jimmy White to take on Stephen Hendry andSteve Davisat the Plymouth Pavilions.

Next stop on the tour will be Broxbourne Civic Hallon 24 May when Steve Davis and                          Jimmy White will challenge each other in a repeat of the 1984 World Final.






Just 4 days later on the28 May the Legends tour heads for the Assembly Rooms in Derby where Steve Davis and Jimmy White will take on Stephen Hendry and Mark Williams. Expect ‘banter-a-plenty’ on this night with the ‘welsh potting machine’ already using his social media to up the ante! Local Derby teenager Hannah Jones will also be popping in to demonstrate the snooker skills that have elevated her to Junior UK Champion in a challenge frame.                                                                                                            

On Saturday 1 June we return to the Liverpool Auditorium. Here Steve Davis and Stephen Hendry take on Jimmy White and Liverpool’s own…John Parrott .


The tour finishes on 4 June with perhaps the biggest event of all…. at the Belfast Waterfront, and what a line up we have.  Jimmy White and Ireland’s Ken Doherty take on Stephen Hendry and the most popular player ever…. the ‘Rocket’ Ronnie O’Sullivan.
